Olivia had a great night Sunday night and we were so thankful! She actually did so well that they were able to take our her ventilator and we could finally see her face! It was a great start to my week for sure!
Don't you just want to kiss those cheeks! As tiny as she is, I am so thankful for chubby cheeks! :)
Because the vent is out, we actually got to hear her cry for the first time. It was a beautiful sound and I can't wait to hear it every day. Monday during the day she continued to have some seizure-like activity that the doctors are simply monitoring. The cooling blanket was left around her because if her seizures get too out of control, they will cool her body back down so her brain doesn't work as hard. They will also probably put in a few brain probes so they can more accurately monitor her brain waves to figure out if the activity she is doing are actually seizures or something else. We know God can take all the seizures away and make this abnormal brain activity cease and we are trusting His healing power over her little life. Thank you for joining us in prayer and lifting our daughter up to the Great Physician.
Jason and I got married in September 2009. We have 2 beautiful daughters, Hannah and Olivia. We live in Fayetteville and are learning how to live life as a family of four! Life is definitely crazy balancing work, family, home and parenthood but we love every second of it and thank God for all the many blessings in our lives!
