Thursday, we braved the heat and headed out to Concert at the Park. It actually wasn't as terribly hot as we thought it would so it was a great way to kick off our weekend of fun!
The girl loves to dance! :)
A little frisbee with Daddy
Friday, Hannah and I went to my parent's house for a little swimming play date with some new friends. Hannah loved getting to hang out with some "older" girls! I love watching her interact with friends...it really is the cutest thing!
All that swimming and running around made these little ones hungry! They devoured these snacks! Ha!
Saturday, we hung out around the house most of the day before heading to a birthday party for one of Hannah's friends from church. It was super hot but the kiddos had lots fun playing in the sand, breaking a pinata and eating LOTS of candy!
Sunday, we had the opportunity to celebrate freedom with an awesome service at church in the morning and then some amazing fireworks at night.
I didn't realized we all coordinated before church Sunday morning until one of our friends pointed it out. Ha! But I do love the red, white and blue! :)
After naptime, we headed up to Cross Church Pinnacle Hills for the fireworks. It was pretty hot when we got there so Hannah decided she needed to cool down with a sno cone. :)
Hannah's sweet friends
My sweet friends....LOVE these ladies!
I took these little goodies to share with everyone too. The perfect summer "dessert"!
blueberries, strawberries and Sara Lee pound cake
My mom and dad came and joined us for the fireworks. Hannah loves her MiMi and Dean-Dean!
My dad came prepared with these massive headphones to block out the loud booms of the fireworks. Hannah loved the fireworks!
And my sweet husband carrying all our chairs and a sleepy little girl back to the car after everything was over. Love his servant heart for our family!
We are super excited to continue celebrating America this week with friends and family!
It's going to be a great week!
