On Friday, Jason took the day off so we could spend some time as a family. He has been working super hard this month to reach some business goals and we haven't had a lot of family time the last two weeks. It was much needed for all of us and we had a lot of fun!
We started off the morning with breakfast at Rick's Bakery. Unfortunately, Hannah is the pickiest eater alive and doesn't like really any breakfast food so she had a duck sugar cookie, complete with a chocolate kiss. Mom of the Year Award, I know but it wasn't worth the epic meltdown that would have ensued had I forced to eat a donut or sausage roll.
We then went to the office supply store for Jason. Hannah helped him pick out what he needed and then tested out some office chairs.
After breakfast and shopping, we decided to take Hannah to see The Lorax. It was a semi-flop.
About an hour into the movie, Hannah began to have a meltdown wanting to go home. So we didn't get to the finish the movie and praying for a better experience next time we decide to brave a movie. Hannah is just praying we actually take her to a movie again. Ha!
