new year, new opportunities

Well, 2011 has already proved to be a year for the record books!  Lots of changes in the Kaundart household but changes that we are excited about and can't wait to share what the Lord does through these changes as the year goes on!

First, it is with great excitement that I get to say I now work for Loving Choices Pregnancy Center in Rogers! This is seriously my DREAM job and I couldn't be happier!!!  I am currently the Rogers Site Director and have been beyond blessed my first week on the job!  I do feel a bit overwhelmed today as I process all that I am learning and experiencing but I know God has great plans for Loving Choices and I am humbly excited to be a part of it this year!

Second, our family has made a huge transition to a new church in Fayetteville.  Jason and I have been praying for a few months that God would just open up some doors for us to be more involved in the Fayetteville community and form some deep friendships with couples and families whom we can live life with on a daily basis.  We love the church that we have been attending but God has made it abundantly clear through different situations and circumstances that it was time to get serious about being involved in our community.  Through this search, we were introduced to a very neat group of people and the CrossChurch faith family.  So, we now call CrossChurch Fayetteville our home.  We are excited to see what God does through this congregation and through our family this year!

hello 2011!

We welcomed in the New Year with some super fun friends in North Little Rock!  Jamey and Ashley Henderson were our hosts for the weekend and did we have fun!!  Jason and I love traveling "down south" to Conway/North Little Rock!  It's always nice to get away for a night and it is even nicer to have fun friends to hang out with!

Before heading to NLR, I had brunch with a few of my best friends from high school.  Several of us live in different parts of the US so we always try to get together during the holidays when everyone comes back to NWA to see family.  I love catching up with these girls when we can and I love being able to pick up where we left off last time we were all together, never missing a beat!  Y'all are the best and I'm thankful for your friendships for life! :)
Sweet friends after brunch at Panera

After I was done hanging out with these friends, we headed to NLR. :)

Love. This. Girl.

It was after midnight and we were both EXHAUSTED! :)  But I love this guy lots and look forward to more adventures in 2011 together!

This is Jason's best friend Jamey and this picture captures their friendship PERFECTLY! Ha!
Better. :)

Sweet friends that live too far away...

christmas part 1

***Hang on to your seats for 4 posts of Christmas...HA!  Yes, we basically celebrated Christmas from December 18 through December 28....so here goes part #1....

Over the weekend, my cousins from Dallas came up to hang out with all the NWA family for a little Christmas celebration with my PaPa in Bentonville.  We always have SO much fun when my cousins come in to town!  There is never a dull moment when we all get together and I love every minute with them!!

On Saturday, we spent the day hanging out at my parents' house laughing, eating and just relaxing...(more pictures to come when I get them off my mom's camera :))

On Sunday morning, we headed back to Bentonville for Christmas brunch at my PaPa's house.  Christmas is always a bittersweet since my Granny is no longer with us but we try to make the best of it and enjoy time together when we can.

Hannah enjoyed eating breakfast with the "big people" this year.

And with the cousins-in-law and Hannah :)

Then Hannah got to open some Christmas presents from the aunts and uncles...she loved her Dora and Boots bubble bath...like, want-to-take-a bath-right-now kinda love!

And this little jacket was definitely Hannah's favorite gift of the day!  She put it right on as soon as she opened it.  Thank you, Sherry and PaPa for such a great gift!
"So pretty and so soft" :)
