beauty and the beast

Last night, my mom took my sister and I to see Beauty and the Beast at the Walton Arts Center.  And it was AMAZING!!! Seriously, the BEST play I have ever seen in Fayetteville.  I loved every minute of it and I especially loved spending some much needed girl time with my mom and sister. :)

Hannah REALLY wanted to go with us.  I can't wait until she is a little bit older and we can do stuff like this all the time!

Look at this face!
I mean, who could ever say no to this little girl?!?

I love my mom and my sister so much and cherish these special times we have together!  Thanks, Mom for being you and treating us to something special like Beauty and the Beast!

a new beginning

Well, we have entered a new stage in our life here at the Kaundart home....

I am officially a full-time stay-at-home mom!  I am SO excited that the Lord has provided for us so that I can stay home with my sweet Hannah.  I have wanted to stay home for awhile now but the timing just wasn't right as Jason began a new job with American National Insurance in April.  But we continued to pray about it and God has opened some doors for us and now I am at home every day and I LOVE it!

One of those doors that was opened was that of Premier Jewelry.  If you don't know anything about Premier, I encourage you to visit their website here.  It is an OUTSTANDING company and I am truly blessed to be apart of what they are all about.  (I'll explain this more in another post.)

What a joy it is to be home with my baby!  She is growing so fast and I am beyond thankful that I get to spend this precious time with her.  I'll leave you with a picture of this little princess I get to spend my days with....

happy birthday, jason!

Last Wednesday, my sweet husband turned 29!  Since we were out of town, we didn't really celebrate until last night.  Both of our parents came over for dinner and we had so much fun!  We cooked Jason's favorite meal and had some yummy cake from Rick's Bakery.

Hannah really wanted to help Daddy blow out his candles!

Happy Birthday, Husband!  You are the best!
Hannah and I love you SO much and are SO thankful for you!

swim lessons

This week, Hannah and I spent an hour every day at the Fedosky's Swim Ranch in Fayetteville for the Water Babies swim class.  Overall, I think Hannah enjoyed it and I loved getting more knowledge on how to teach her to swim as she gets older.  It was definitely an adventure and I can't wait to do it again next year!

Day 1:  Jason was able to go with us the first day and he captured some pictures of us in the pool...
Not too sure what to think...

Learning to use a kickboard...still gotta work on the "kick" part. :)

Swimming with Ms. Virginia...SO thankful for her knowledge and patience!

At the end of each class, everyone gets to pick out a pool toy to play with...Hannah couldn't decide on just ONE toy and we had minor meltdown.  I did my best to keep smiling. :)

Day 2:
I asked Hannah if she was ready to go to swim lessons and this is the face I got...PRICELESS! :)

Day 3:                                Ready to go!
It was cold and rainy when we got out but Hannah loved being bundled in her towel with an animal cracker for doing so well!

Day 4:
Every day after swim lessons, Hannah got Chick-fil-A for lunch. Thanks to MiMi, Hannah now associates swim lessons with chicken :)
And I caught her sneaking a drink of my Diet Coke!

Swimming wore this baby out this week!  Best naps she's taken in awhile!!!

Day 5:
SUPER excited for swim lessons today!

MiMi and Dean-Dean showed up today to see what Hannah has been learning all week.  She was excited to see them!!!

Today, Hannah received a certificate of participation for swimming lessons this week.  So, don't be surprised it you are at our house and see it hanging in our office!  We are SO proud of our little fish!

4th of July fun!

Our 4th of July weekend was so busy but so so fun!  We celebrated pretty much all weekend with friends and family and definitely had a blast!

On Saturday, we headed out to the lake with some very dear friends.  It was cloudy on the way to the lake but we figured we could get some swim time in even if the guys couldn't go out on the boat for some wakeboarding.  We went a little earlier than everyone else and headed straight to the swim area for Hannah to play a little before lunch.  She loved it!  Especially her little "boat."
Hannah wanted to use her boat before we even got to the lake as a lounger while watching Barney.

Hannah loved playing in the water with Daddy! :)

It started to rain and Hannah was WAY more interested in the rain clouds than taking a picture with Mommy.

These were the clouds that brought quite a bit of rain which forced us inside the RV for the afternoon and keeping the guys from wakeboarding. :(

So, we decided to head home since the rain wasn't going anywhere for the day.  We weren't in the car 10 minutes before our little one was fast asleep...I mean, the deep and snoring sleep!
SO precious! :)

We stopped at Suzy Q on the way home.  Jason had never been and it is definitely a childhood favorite of mine as my family always made a Suzy Q stop after being at the lake.  I was excited for Jason to try this little "greasy spoon" hamburger stop.

And, to make this stop even more wonderful, (for me, at least!) Suzy Q serves Hunt's ketchup.  Now, to most people this is no big deal but in our family, it's HUGE!  Jason and I have an ongoing debate of which is better: Heinz or Hunt's.  And basically every restaurant known to man serves Heinz so obviously Jason thinks he is right...but...Suzy Q has Hunt's! :)  I have at least one point now.

And, yes, I took a picture :)

On Sunday, we headed over to my parents' house for a little cookout.  Fortunately, it was sunny so we were able to enjoy some time in the pool too.

Taking a little break for a snack and drink :)
Cruisin' around on the four wheeler

After eating, playing and swimming, we headed home for some sparkler fun with Hannah.
Hannah liked the sparklers for about 10 seconds and she was done and ready to do her own thing.

A little before dark, our neighbors began setting off HUGE fireworks!  So, we took advantage of it and set up chairs in our driveway...it was like having our own personal fireworks show!
Hannah really enjoyed it!  And even wanted her own chair for the show...

HAPPY 4th of JULY!
