fun-filled weekend!

We have had a BUSY but super fun weekend in the Kaundart house!  We spent lots of time with friends and enjoying the gorgeous spring weather.  We really couldn't have asked for a better weekend!

Saturday, we joined in the celebration of Sawyer's first birthday!  It was so fun watching Hannah interact with lots of people she didn't know...she is just so funny sometimes!  We are loving getting to know all the families in our community group and I love that Hannah will have the opportunity to grow up with some amazing friends!  I just know that Hannah and Sawyer will be fun playmates this summer and I can't wait to watch them grow up together!  Thank you, Katie and Andrew for allowing us to share in this special day and hang out with your family!  We look forward to many more play dates and birthdays together! :)
Here's Sawyer checking out the fun farm book from Hannah:
We hope he loves it as much as Hannah does!

The excitement of the party simply wore Hannah out!
She was asleep in no less than five minutes in the car.

We also made our weekend Walmart journey.  Hannah went shopping with Daddy while I filled the cart with the food products for the week.  Of course, when Hannah and Daddy venture off, I never know what they will come back with.  And she came back with several fun things this trip!  She ended with a new ball and a "noisemaker".  We got lots of laugh from passing customers as Hannah was proudly blowing in her new "toy" and making loud noises!

On Sunday, we played outside in the wonderful sunshine!  Hannah is still getting the hang of summer toys vs. winter toys....

And Sunday night, some of my wonderful friends came over for dinner!  Staci Warlick, a former roommate, is in NWA this week after moving back to Texas from Virginia.  We are all super excited to see her face again and it was wonderful getting to catch up with these amazing girls who mean so much to me!  And Hannah loved all the attention! :)

Needless to say, we are a bit tired from the weekend but are so blessed with so many great friends, new and old!  Jason and I couldn't be happier with where God has placed at this time in our lives.  We are loving getting to know new people and families, catching up with old friends and praising God through it all!
